Who is behind Mfidie Solutions
Mfidie Solutions is the software development arm of MFIDIE, the Ghanaian business behind mfidie.com. The business is led by Shepherd Yaw Morttey, who draws on experience in software products, technology publishing and search, and it works with collaborators according to each project’s needs. The focus is on the work and the clients it serves, rather than on a large management structure.
How it grew from MFIDIE
MFIDIE began in 2017 with technology publishing and practical digital work. Software development became an increasingly important part of the business. After years of building and delivering applications, that work became its own dedicated branch: Mfidie Solutions. We have more than four years of software development experience, building systems that people use beyond launch day.
Work we take on
We develop web applications, payment and mobile money integrations, USSD services, education platforms, SMS and WhatsApp workflows, and systems that replace repetitive manual processes. Our products include SwiftSchool and SHSSelect. We also undertake client engagements such as DialGH and GhLearner, and collaborations including ZoomPass and VisitGhana. We do not provide hardware repairs. We choose technologies according to the work, rather than insist that every project use the same framework.
How we work with clients
We start with a free 30-minute conversation about the problem, the people affected and the result the business needs. We then agree on scope and a tailored quotation. Our team can handle planning, design, development, testing, deployment and ongoing maintenance. Where a client already has a team for one of those stages, we work with that arrangement. We want the software to remain useful as requirements change, not merely function on its first day.
Where we work
We are based in Accra, Ghana, and work with organisations locally and remotely. We have served clients in Ghana, Ireland, the United States, the United Kingdom and Kenya. We work with entrepreneurs, schools, small businesses and established organisations that need practical software delivery.
